What is the ClassName Method in DelphiVCL.Application?

featuredimage2 4

The ClassName method or DelphiVCL.Application.ClassName is used to return a string indicating the type of the object instance (as opposed to the type of the variable passed as an argument).

Use ClassName to obtain the class name from an object instance or class reference. This is useful for differentiating object instances that are assigned to a variable that has the type of an ancestor class.

Let’s browse all the properties, methods, and built-in properties of the DelphiVCL.Application.ClassName using dir() command:

See the responses in our Windows command prompt:

0dir 7603676

You can also read short information about the DelphiVCL.Application.ClassName using the print() command:

See the responses in our Windows command prompt:

0print 1692437
